In Southeastern Turkey, Gaziantep hosts the excellent new museum, mostly with mosaics from the Roman city of Zeugma. This is reputed to be the largest mosaic museum in the world (previous hooolder of the record was the Bardo in Tunisia). Zeugma was conquered in the 3rd century AD.
